Course Objectives:
Students enrolled in this course will be introduced to various strategies for managing pests and diseases, encompassing traditional practices alongside more advanced and environmentally friendly alternatives.
Included in the course is what causes damage to crops in the field, how to identify an offending factor, the difference between extinct pest control and integrated pest control, harmful vs. beneficial insects, Aphids-identification, characteristics of injury to crops,methods of pest control and tour to visit vegetable pest control (R&D) and the Ein Yahav bumblebee "factory"
