  • To expose students to the recent knowledge of soil fertilization and fertility management.
  • To contribute problem-solving tools for abiotic nutrient-dependent problems in the field.
  • To introduce modern alternatives to conventional fertilizers.

Learning Outcomes:

On successful completion of this course, students should be able to:

  • Briefly understand the biological mechanisms regarding nutrient uptake and plant-soil interactions.
  • Identify morphological symptoms of nutrient deficit conditions and its specific deficiencies.
  • Have a range of traditional and modern agrotechnical solutions to implement in the field.
