Course Description:
All students are required to perform an agriculture scientific experiment on their farms. This course provides the students with the tools, know-how, and understanding of the research methodology.
Course Objectives:
- To give a basic knowledge of the methodology of scientific research.
- Providing tools and guidance for publishing the scientific paper and presenting the project.
- Provide practical advice and ways to handle obstacles and challenges the student may come across
Learning outcomes – on successful completion of this module, students should:
- Understand the stages of the research, and how to accomplish them correctly.
- Be able to form an experiment based on a research question
- Know how to collect data, analyse it and draw conclusions
- Present their research in various formats.
